With the ever-increasing need for transparency, the body-worn cameras have been widely used by law enforcement agencies. The Hytera VM580D can live stream video, upload high-resolution photos and share real-time GPS location information over LTE, 3G and WLAN networks, improving collaboration and outcomes of both responders and dispatchers during emergencies.

The VM580D also serves as a Push-To-Talk Over Cellular (PoC) radio. It allows you to make a voice call simply by pressing the Push-To-Talk (PTT) key. The usage of BWC may result in better accountability between the officers and civilians by revealing events accurately. The BWC poses as a strong deterrent against misuse of force by officers and violent conduct by citizens.
