The R7 is the official replacement for the DP4 Series and comes in a number of variations depending on your requirements.
Part of the MOTOTRBO range, the Motorola R7 is a next-generation device that offers advanced audio, slim and rugged design, and connectivity with different Digital Mobile Radio systems. With emergency buttons, lone worker and over-the-air programming standards, the R7 is built to MIL-STD-810 military standards – which means it’s going to last even in the harshest of conditions.
Display:
On the R7FKP, there is a much bigger screen for notifications and information.
Speaker:
On the R7FKP, the speaker is hidden behind the keypad.
Size:
The R7 is slimmer and easier to hold.
Accessory Port:
More integrated into the radio.
Emergency Button:
Located on the top and bright orange, you wont miss it.
LED indicator light:
Showcasing a transmission issue and active receiving.
Lone Worker:
As standard the lone worker is on all variations of the R7 (R7A, R7FKP, R7NKP).
IP66/68 Rating:
Meaning dust and water tight.
Another main thing to highlight on the R7, is the Capable and Premium variation types to the R7FKP and R7NKP. Premium variations include all product features as standard, whereas Capable are upgradable extras if and when required.
